What Causes Bad Cramps And Green Colored Stool During Pregnancy?

Im 13 weeks pregnant. I just recently got over the flu , i just started taking amoxicillian for an ear infection. Well i just started getting really bad cramps coming and going and when i use the bathroom it is very little and looks green and a brownish and stringy with phlegm. Reasons for this?

The possible causes for your problem are:
-Gastrointestinal disturbances like dysentery. Which can present with pain abdomen, mucus in stools etc.
-Rarely amoxycillin can lead to clostridium difficile associated diarrhea.
It can present with pain abdomen, mucus in stools etc.
So, if the symptoms persist, consult your doctor once and get examined.
And take treatment according to his advice. At the same time better to undergo ultrasound once to verify the well being of the baby.
