Hello, I'm a 20 year old male and on the morning of Saturday the 11th, I went to the toilet feeling a bit unwell. As I was trying to pass a poo I suffered from lower abdominal pains, bloating, chills, constipation but diarrhea!? It was absolutely horrible, at one point I thought I was going to faint and it wasn't from pushing hard! After about 15 minutes on the toilet, I suddenly felt fine though my poo was lightly covered in what looked like white snot! Mucus'y stuff. I then had to go back to repeat this once every 15 minutes. After a short sleep I felt absolutely fine. Sunday morning, same constipation with diarrhea and mucus but not much abdominal pain. I noticed small bits of bright red blood in a piece of poo I got on some tissue paper. I guessed this was from an Anal fissure as it's quite sore.. I've done this a few times. Anyway, today... Monday and I woke up with a swollen upper lip and had abdominal pail when on the toilet as well as constipation with diarrhea... no signs of mucus or blood this time. Whats up with me? Stomach bug or something more serious like IBS? Going to see a Doctor tomorrow, I just thought I'd post something up now to see if I get a response to satisfy my curiosity and hypocondractism! Haha.
