What Causes A Sudden Stringent Odor To The Nose?

Hi. Im 27 years of age and sometimes when i breath i get this smell that smell like dog poop it even happens when im in my house which i dont have animals.. I get this smell a couple of times a day in diferent places... I ask people around me to see if they smell what im smelling but i get a No. plz help

Sinusitis causes symptoms such as sinus inflammation and nasal congestion, which can interfere with a person's sense of smell.
The condition can also cause bad breath and a discolored, bad-smelling discharge in the nose and back of the throat.
I suggest to do a sinus xray and a visit to ENT specialist for further evaluation.
