I have been suffering from a rash causing severe itching. This has been going on for a month now. On the inside of my arms I have a measle like rash which at least once a day flares up and turns into a red block rash all over my body with swelling of my face and eyes. I also get a tingling sensation in my throat. I have not changed anything nor am I eating anything different. I think this must be an allergy but am perplexed as to why I do not have these symptoms when lying down or whilst sleeping. The itching normally starts in the palms of the hands or feet but quickly leaves that area to spread all over my body. Last night I had a bad attack and the rash became very raised. It appears to becoming worse with each attack. I am wondering if, rather than an allergy, it could be an internal problem. On occasions I also get sickness and diarrhoea with it.
