hi. My baby is 22 weeks old. I started him with cerelac first food about 2 weeks ago and had no problems.when i fed him last night he developed a rash around the mouth area which faded after a little while. This morning the same thing has happened. After eating the cerelac i washed His faced and noticed a rash around the mouth area. After a while its started to fade again. What should i do? Should i discontinue the cerelac and what is causing the rash? Is it something to worry about?

Hi....by what you quote I think that the kid is allergic to some ingredient in Cerelac. Please discontinue Cerelac with same ingredients and I suggest that the kid will require a work up for food allergy. Some times food allergy can be serious and I suggest you consult your pediatrician regarding this immediately.
