What Causes A Burning Sensation In My Stomach?

I am having a burning sensation in the stomach quite some time. I visited a doctor and he had done the blood test and told that it is beginning of possible ulcer. He recommended to take the pylokit tablets for one month. I had taken it for one week and discontinued. Will it be effective if I start taking the same medication again for one month<
