What Cause Pressure And Pain In Stomach After Food?

My stomach area has gotten so huge!!! I have a pain above my belly button and feel hungry all the time even when I have just eaten and but I feel pressure in my stomach. Hard to explain but when I lay flat on my back, the area above my belly button is raised up and hurts if I press it. Also, it does not feel like the rest of the fat on my stomach, it is actually harder.

Thank you for your input

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This has different possibilities including gastric outlet obstruction, duodenal lesions, periampullary conditions, liver swelling or tumors, hiatus hernia, incisional hernia, epigastric hernia, lipomas, and others.

Confirmatory diagnosis requires thorough history, physical examination, ultrasound of abdomen with or without upper GI Endoscopy, and CT scan abdomen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
