hello

It is very difficult to exactly diagnose this condition on the basis of this much information. however, it seems to be some kind of neuropathy:

1. If it is localised to one area like one side of your chest, face etc, it is possible that it is post herpectic neuralgia. But in most of the cases, there is history of preceeding skin lesions. However, there is entity called zoster sine herpete, where you develop no skin lesions but develop this kind of pain.

2. if it is not localised like this and present more severely at hands and feet., then it can be most likely sensory neuropathy which can be due to many diseases like diabetes, leprosy, hereditary neuropathy, lead poisoning etc.

I would suggest you to visit a neurologist or a dermatologist to clarify about this condition

Thanks
