What Can Be The Reason For Not Having Bowel Movement Post Hernia Surgery?

I had a hernia surgery on the 15th was realeased from the hospital on the 18th and still have not had a bowel movement. It's been a week since surgery. I feel full. I can hardly eat cause I feel like my food gets stuck Galway down my throat and am still in intense pain

Hi...take laxatives and even enema if you want...after surgery due to fear of pain you must had not gone to pass stools...now it has become hard as body absorbs water from it...
