Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I just read through your question. Typically, a baby will approximately triple the birth weight in the first year of life. At a 2.45 kg birthweight, that would bring him to approximately 7.35kg at 12 months of age. So a weight of 8.40kg at 13 months is normal. The appearance of the first teeth is more difficult to predict. It can be as early as 3 months and as late as 15 months. So I wouldn't worry about his teeth just yet either. You can feel comfortable, and proud of yourself, that you have a normally growing baby.
