What Are The Treatments For Cold, Cough And Stomach Pain Of A 3 Year Old Kid?

My 3 year old daughter recently had cough and colds. Then she experienced on and off fever and last night and tonight she experienced nosebleeds though not severe. And she complains of stomach ache in the upper side of the stomach in the middle just below the rib bone.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hello, at the end of a cold or upper respiratory infection the lining of the nasal passages are inflamed and the small vessels can bleed. The treatment is to apply gentle pressure to the nasal bridge. If the bleeding does not stop in five minutes, please seek medical advice from your doctor who may need to order lab tests to determine your daughter's blood count and clotting ability.
Stomach pain in association with a viral illness can be related to the infection or around the ribs, muscular strain from coughing and using muscles that are not ordinarily used with much force. If she has fevers higher than 101 for more than three days, vomiting, diarrhea or can not keep liquids down, please seek the advice of your doctor.
