Hi, I have a four year old daughter. She spent a day and half at her Grandma's house. When she came home and I gave her a bath I noticed a rash/breakout/iritation. I thought we would wait a day and see if it was still there. It was still there and getting worse. The Grandma has a cat outside and I doubt it has had it shots. Thinking that and the area being round and very red on the outside and inside I thought it was probably a ringworm. Bought over the counter cream and have put on it for about a week. Now it is crusty in the middle. Is this a ringworm? My daughter has VERY sensitive skin and using gauze and tape or bandaids to cover it has broken her out in the areas around the initial area. She has always had very sensitive skin. Is this a ringworm and what can I do to make her not break out so badly from keeping it covered?
