What Are The Symptoms Of Potential Osteoarthritis?

I am having terrible pains in my left hip joint. I am a dancer and am 27 years old. If I sit, lay or stand in any one position for more than 30 minutes or an hour, my hips hurts and I have to stretch it. Could I have osteoarthritis? If so, can I still dance?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case. It is not osteoarthritis. This looks like a hip synovial or a labial tear. To confirm this diagnosis I would recommend you to get MRI examination of the hip joint. This will tell us if there is any ligaments damage or there is any fluid collection.
Till than I would recommend you to avoid dancing. Hot water fomentation and Brufen tablet will be helpful for you. You might need arthroscopic surgery if there is a labial tear.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. Thanks
