What Are The Signs Of Having IBS(Irritable Bowel Syndrome)?

Been having nagging stomach pains not too intense but hard to ignore, its a kinda gassy pain the area around my navel and lower abdomen is where hurts my doc says it could be IBS or inflammation of the small intestines, my bowel movements have changed both in frequency and type. I m 42 yrs old and female

Irritable bowel syndrom is a group of gastrointestinal symptoms that related to lower bowel .

In irritable bowel syndrom change a frequency and consistency of stool more than 3 months continue. Relief by defecation.

Altered stool form .Constipation is relived by loose stool.
More mucus in stool present.
Abdominal bloting more.

Abdominal ultrasound sonography is normal in irritable bowel syndrom.
Endoscope is helpful for further diagnosis.

Consent a gastroenterologist for further treatment.
