Hi,

It may be herpes zoster..also called shingles. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. Antiviral like acyclovir 800 mg thrice a day for few weeks may be taken. Pain killer like tab tramadol 50 mg twice a day may be taken till the pain is relieved. Oral steroid in tapering dose should be considered to prevent post herpetic neuralgia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care..
