What Are The Screening Methods For Hereditary Heart Disease?

My 41 yr old femaile cousin just died from a Widow Maker Heart attack. They told her family this is a hereditary heart disease and her 13 yr old daughter should be screened. What type of screening will she need? I had a Thallium Stress Test last year because of chest pain (51 yr old female). It was normal, so what kind of risk do I have?

Proper screening at timely interval can be reasonable approach to go for.

For Screening of heart disease, most important and most commonly done test is ECG. Apart from ECG, depending on ECG findings and symptoms can be advised.

Other tests include stress ECG test, ECHO, coronary calcium scoring, Angiography or Nuclear cardiography.
