What Are The Risks With High TSH Levels During Pregnancy?
Hi ..I am 26 yrs and i am 7 weeks pregnent now.My TSH results are as below T3 1.03 ng/ml and T4 5.29 mcg/dl and TSH is 31.01 uIU/ml...TSH i am very much concerned as the upper limit says 4.2...Pls can you let me know what are the risks with this? I am tensed and i have my gyeno appointment in the evening ...Pls help..

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the thyroid hormone supplementation should be started as soon as possible.Dont worry it's good atleast it is detected by now.It will get set within 2 -4 weeks.If left untreated it might lead to low IQ in the baby.
