Hi
Welcome to HCM.
Dandruff is a common problem & no doubt there is effective therapy.
So no need to worry.
Few common precautions you should follow
1. Dont apply oil over scalp
2. Make it a habit to use ketoconazole 2% shampoo twice weekly after proper control
3. Severe itching can be avoided by taking antihistamines for short duration at night.
4. Oily food, butter can be avoided
5. Can take biotin tablet once a day.
If you can’t get rid of the problem then consult your dermatologist & can have a query for sebopsoriasis to exclude.
Good luck
