What Are The Possible Reasons For Missed Abortion And When Can I Try For Next Pregnancy?

My age is 25yrs and blood group is B negative ..my husbands age is 27yrs and blood group is AB positive .I was pregnant of 3months.last period date is 6th october 2013.on 4th January 2014 I had missed abortion.I was having vaginal infection too.doctor was using internal examination. Is it the reason for abortion? If no,den what are the possible reasons.and also plz guide us for next pregnancy.when should we try for next healthy pregnancy

Hi,

Almost 10-15% of pregnancies in perfectly normal individuals can have a miscarriage. Internal examination does not cause miscarriage and is infact necessary when suspecting infection. The type of infection could be helpful?Did you have bacterial vaginosis? Did you also have a urine infection?
Next pregnancy can be planned anytime you are ready, just make sure any vaginal infection is treated. And take folic acid before planning to conceive.
Also do keep in mind about your Rh negative blood group, and consider anti D after delivery, and do let your doctor know when you are pregnant about the Rh negative blood group.
