What Are The Odds Of Getting Pregnant, Had Unprotected Sex During Fertile Period?

Hi we had unprotected sex during my fertile period. My partner withdraw and cum onto his hand and onto my butt. He cleaned the semen on my butt with tissue and accidentally brushed some on my vulva. I ran off to the bathroom besides and washed with soap and water. What are the odds of getting pregnant? Thanks.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
FOr pregnancy to occur, vaginal penetration is required.
And this has occurred.
Even if ejaculation proper did not occur, pre ejaculatory fluid also can contain live and healthy sperms.
SO the risk of getting pregnant definitely exists.
Even if you did wash immediately after, it is not completely risk proof.
Especially during your fertile period, the chances are pretty high.
Overall it is not possible to quote a figure or percentage, but yes, the risk is significantly present.
If this is recent, then try taking an emergency contraceptive pill ( ECP ) to minimize your risk of pregnancy.
If less than 120 hours have elapsed, you still have that option
In future, have protected sex if you wish to avoid a pregnancy.
Take care.
