What Are The Chances Of Being Pregnant Due To Bloating Of Stomach And Back Pain After Having Unprotected Sex?

I started taking prenatal pills at the beginning of this month ive had unprotected sex with my boyfriend now my period is about a week late ive had symptoms of if its getting ready to start but nothing so far. My breast are not tender and i haven't been sick constipated for a while but other than that i dont feel too odd a little boated and some back pain could it just be running late or should i take a pregnancy test im so confused i have no kids so dont know whats really happening until now ive been pretty regular no missed or delayed

Hi,
Since you have never missed a period so far, please take a urine pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample. If you wish for an earlier and better confirmation, please go for the serum beta-hCG assay. A trans-vaginal sonogram also would be helpful. It is not necessary to have symptoms of early pregnancy always. Please see a specialist for a complete evaluation and further management. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
