What Are The Causes Of Nose Bleeding And Coughing Up Of Blood Clots?

Please help! My.daughter has been sick for the last 3 days the sickness has stopped and now she has come down with a bad cough and runny nose. She has judt woke up with a bad nose bleed! And coughed up blood clots?? What shall i do? Whats happening? please reply asap

Hello

First thing is dont panic!! , the bleeding and clots are due to the cold and will subside once the infection is treated. Your daughter will need antibiotics and medical care, hence i would like you to take her to the hospital immediately, Meanwhile you can put oxymetazoline nasal drops , 2 drops , 4-5 times a day in her nose, which will reduce the bleeding.
