What Are The Causes For Explosive Bowel Movements In Breast Feeding 2 Month Old Boy?

My 2 month old grandson is experiencing a problem. His mother is pumping and he is receiving breast milk. About 2 weeks ago, he started having explosive bowel movements, usually in the evening. He is a very hard baby to burp, has a very strong tongue thrust and seems to take in a lot of air while feeding. However, he eats well. The bowel movements aren t watery, just really soupy. I m wondering what your thoughts are on this.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Usually babies gulp some air also while taking feeds.
I advise you to keep the baby on you shoulder and pat lightly over the back to burp the swallowed air.
You may also try colimex-DF drops 3-4 times to make the baby comfortable.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
