What Are The Causes For Dizziness And Gaining Weight Of A Person In Early Stage Of Menopause?

I have an appointment for Monday, but my symptoms are getting worse so I wanted to do some digging on my own. I've been dizzy/fuzzy-headed, even when sitting. I've gained weight over the last few months and have lessened my intake in the last couple of weeks, but no weight loss. I'm in the beginning stages of menopause. 47 years old
