Weird Feeling In The Chest, Head, Neck, Throat, Ears, Weakness, Stress. History Of Recurring Strep Throat. Suggest

Hey doc. I've had strep throat four times since february and i just finished my last course of antibiotics about 2 weeks ago and havent gotten it since. But, i have this overall weird feeling in my chest head neck throat and ears and im not sure why. I just feel weak at times and i just don't like it. Ive also been really stressed lately could that be it?

You are having multiple weird symptoms involving different system. As the weirdness of symptoms increases, chances of having stress related problem increases. This kind of presentation can be possible due to stress and anxiety.

Anxiety and stress can manifest not only with psychological symptoms but with a variety of physical symptoms also like: Tingling, numbness, hot and cold sensations, palpitation, chest heaviness, choking sensation, tremors (shakiness) etc.

In history you mentioned that, you had already evaluated and treated by physician and completed of course of antibiotics without improvement, then we should suspect anxiety or stress for cause of current symptoms.

For long term control of anxiety following measures are helpful: relaxation exercise, medicines like SSRIs and non drug treatment like CBT. It is better to get evaluated by psychiatrist and start treatment accordingly.
