Weight Gain In Infant No Seen, Breast Milk, On Galact Powder. Underwent C Section. What Else Can Be Done?

My 9 months baby(Boy) is not eating solid food there is big difference i can notice in his weight gain. By birth he was 3.950 kg weight and i have undergone C-section. I had less Breast milk so as recommended i m taking Galact powder in milk two times a day and he was having adequate weight gain till 5 month . I started him on weaning food as adviced by doctor. he liked solid food till 6th month of age.recently he has stopped taking solid food and very rarely likes formula also. He likes only to be breast fed. i m working and i have to spend 10 hours away 4m him. he is only 7.8 kg now and looks lean body. i m worried. what to do? Please suggest

Defiantely your baby has poor growth at this age compared to his birth age but need not to worry much as according to his current age his weight is all right.always gain in weight is not important we have to look on others parameters too like all skills which a baby of 9 month should acquire is present in your baby or not.babies have more taste buds on their tongue then what we have so they catches taste very early and get bored of them too easily.so offer different food to him.its our habit that we give repeated foods to babies like khichadi, suji, kheer once he starts having solid diets.their taste buds get bored of them in 2-3 months and they stop taking those foods.just offer foods with different taste and do not repeat thm very often.there is lots of variety in our kitchen.try them your problem will be solved.

Welcome to HCM
Greetings of the day
try giving semi solid foods like smashed banana, white of boiled egg, rice with milk and sugar added. Try experimenting with the weaning food and in some time you will definitely come to know what the baby is liking.
Take Care
