If you and you and your partner have had good sex in the past and your problems have started since two years then we need to focus on any medical or psychological event that might have occurred to her. As she is in the perimenopausal age or must have had menopause, there are a lot of hormonal imbalances that occur in all women at that age. Along side the lubrication of the vagina also decreases and so does the chemical environment. That was the physical part. Now, there are also certain mood changes that occur in almost every woman during menopause. This is due to the effect of changes in sex hormones. I suggest she talks to a gynecologist and takes necessary treatment in the form of lubrication jelly and/ or hormone replacement and you both may attend a sex therapy session together if felt necessary.
