Virgin, Experiencing Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding After Masturbation. Why Could It Be So?

Hey, I'm a fourteen year old virgin and I'm experiencing abnormal vaginal bleeding after masturbation. I'm not due for my period just yet and I have already broken my hymen (over a year ago). My vagina is never dry and I clean it often. Whenever I masturbate, I make sure my fingernails are short and well lubricated. I have used other clean objects such as a cucumber and I am never forceful. It slides inside easily, but when I remove the object, it is streaked with light brownish-red blood and clear/creamy vaginal fluids. It is not heavy bleeding, but I hold a tissue there for about five minutes and it comes out clearish and spotty. I don't think the blood is from deep inside. I use two-three fingers when I'm fingering myself and I don't do it rough. I masturbate about every fortnight and I don't experience this bleeding randomly- only after penetration. So it's not caused by stimulation. It is not painful either, just freaky. It happens every time and I am getting worried. Please don't tell me to go to a doctor or talk to an adult about this because I refuse to. I hope you can help me. Thank you so much.
P.S: In the opening of my vagina there is a small piece of thickish skin- I am not sure what it is and if it's normal. I have tried to find online answers and it has not been good. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

Hi there,

I don't think there is anything to be worried about. Most likely the fingers or the objects that you use might be causing minor trauma to the area, which might explain the spotting that you see.

Hope this helps.

Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
