Using Estrogen For Hot Flashes, Stays Cold, Takes B12 Monthly Once. Treatment?

I am 72 years old. I was on estrogen for 19 years for hot flashes. I came off estrogen three years ago. The first year no problems. For the last two years the hot flashes have been terrible. My ob/gyn said that it was not hormones because of my age. I have as many as 20 hot flashes a day. At times 3 per hour. I stay cold all the time. I have had T3 and T4 tests done that come back normal. Also take B12 once a month. Life is miserable. This is not normal.

Hi, the hot flashes may be due to age, anxiety, some chronic diseases etc. Rarely it may be due to estrogen also, you can have it if there is no contraindication. For doubt of harmons, and other causes you can consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
