Unprotected Sex, Delayed Periods. Urine Test For Pregnancy Was Negative. Causes For Delayed Periods?

hi i am a 24 year old lady i last had my menstrual period on the 12 October 2012 and again 2 weeks later which was the 28th of October that was the last time i menstruated. i was due for periods on the 24 November of which i had sexual intercorse with my partner, ive never had my period since then . my urine test results came out negetive 5 times, what could be rong? thanx

Hi thanks for your question.
Your periods are over due by more than 12 weeks and your 5 pregnancy tests are negative.
There is a long list of causes of delayed periods other than pregnancy and tension is commonest cause for delayed periods.I would suggest you to consult a gynaecologist who will be able to evaluate you for cause of delayed periods. You may need ultra sound abdomen along with many more investigation to determine cause of delayed periods.
