Twisted Foot, In Bad Pain. May I Have Done Damage?

I was walking downstaris in high heel shoes and twisted my foot in the process (nearly fell). Though I felt silly I was not aware of discomfort. Now I m home and in bed I m in significant pain. May I have done damage? I work in a shop and am meant to woek tomorrow but I m concerned about weight on ankle, I don t want to cause further iiritation to ankle.

you most likely have soft tissue injury.
You need to take pain killers like paracetamol if the pain persists then go see doctor and have x/ray and further evaluation done.
