Twinges Of Pain In Pelvic Area For Months, Lower Back Pain. Relief From Stretches. Suggestions?

I have been having twinges of pain in both hips/ pelvic area for about 2-3 months on and off with some lower back pain , went to the chiropractor and they adjusted me a few times with little result, they finally gave me some stretches to do and when I tried them it went away completely but came back a few days or so later, it s come and gone for a few days or a week or so at a time for a few months now and I can t figure out what it might be. There are also times it it aches in my knees and recently my toes a couple times but it mostly stays around the hip region, around the crease and sometimes up higher toward my pelvic bone. Any suggestions? Please help!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM

The first step is to ensure that you maintain an appropriate posture while working. Take frequent stretch breaks and drink lots of water. Discontinue using pillow while sleeping straight. Do not lift heavy objects, especially after bending down. Eat a healthy wholesome meal which should satisfy your minerals and proteins requirement.
The most essential and long lasting remedy is exercises. There are certain back strengthening and neck isometric exercises that you must learn from a physiotherapist and perform them at home or work whenever possible.

Last but not least, if its unbearable take medications or muscle relaxant prescribed by your physician. And if it has been long standing illness visit your orthopaedician and clinically-radiologically establish a diagnosis to commence definitive treatment.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and informative and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care.
