Trying To Conceive. Had A Miscarriage. Bright Red Period And Heavy. Is This A Cause Of Worry?

Hi,
I am 27 years old. I had a miscarriage in july and am currently trying to conceive. I started my period this month early. I usually have a 33-36 day cycle. My period arrived on cycle day 28. It has been quite abnormal for me, it was bright red. It also seems to stop for a day or so then I get a gush of blood. Is this something to be worried about?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

At times, menstrual irregularities can be experienced for a while after a miscarriage or pregnancy. So please be patient, and report to your doctor if this continues for more than 6 months since the miscarriage.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
