Treatment For Undescended Testicle

im a fourteen year old boy and at a few months old i suffered from an undescended testicle and it had to be surgically removed. I was wondering whether i am old enough to have a prosthetic testicle to replace it? i do not want to go through the rest of puberty with one testicle.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.It has to be removed surgically, if it was located where.
2.If viability is there ( can find out by getting a scan done and locating the testis and check for the blood supply and things like that)
3.Consult surgeon, they may operate and place in the sac.
4.Coming to prosthetic one, its not necessary,as in long run it may give infections.
5.Suggest yo to visit your GP and get needful things done.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
