Took Nyquil With Alcohol. Shaking, Chills And Sleeplessness, Fever. Due To Drug Interaction?

I had a couple of beers and took nyquil knowing it will help me get to sleep when I got home. My entire body was shaking and the chills took hours to go away. I didn't get to sleep the whole night. The following day, I got fever that lasted for 3 days. I went to see a doctor and only gave me antibiotic. Does me having a fever have anything to do with me taking nyquil after the beer?

Hello,
Taking of NyQuil with alcohol has no relation with development of fever.
Your symptoms suggest that you developed a viral fever.
It was a mere co incident that you developed fever after taking NyQuil with beer.
Although not asked by you,but I advise you not to take any medicines with alcohol.
Thanks
