Took Motilium In The Early Stages Of Pregnancy. Will There Be Any Side Effect?

I'am 5 weeks pregnant, two weeks a go i was sick vomiting and going to the toilet at that time i didn't know that i'am pregnant so i went to the pharmacy and told them my problems and they recommend me to take Motilium(domperidone) and now i'am pregnant and want to know if there are any side effects,and if my pregnancy it alright.

Motilium or domperidone is classifed as pregnancy category C by the FDA.
this means that animal studies have shown harm to unborn fetus, but there are no adequate human studies.
Also, it should be given if benefits outweigh potential risks in pregnancy.
In your case, you might have taken only a few tablets, so there is no cause for worry.
Take regular folic acid supplements.
go for regular ultrasound scan and appropriate genetic testing.
