Tonsillitis In 17 Weeks Of Pregnancy

im 17weeks pregnant now... i suffered from tonsil infection... i have a running nose right now... after 3 days i always notice that the cough will be followed... i always drink calamansi juice but the pain is still there... i always encountered tonsillitis ... my doctor always prescribes me antibiotic like co-amoxiclav.. plz help me.... it will affect on my baby? tnx

If you have suffered tonsil infection then you need to take a antibiotic which your doctor has rightly prescribed. Amoxi clav is a antibiotic that is safe in pregnancy so you can take the complete course as prescribed.It will not affect the baby.
