Thigh Pain. Tried Using Ice. What Is The Cause?

Hi my name is Gwen, I have really bad thigh pain, sometimes it's in the inner thigh. or just the front of my thigh. What can I take for this ? Also what causes this I have to put ice on and sometimes I can't even walk I lay on the floor and almost am in tears ! I am 64 yrs. old I am not sedentary. I walk as often as I can, don't drive.

Hi,
From your history it seems that you are having Sciatica pain.
Due to age there might be having osteo-artheritis in your vertebral column giving rise to irritation or pressure on the nerves giving rise to this problem.
Go for x-ray lumbo-sacral region and confirm the diagnosis.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined and got for treatment and physiotherapy.
Take calcium. vitamin A, D supplements.
