The Present Follicle On 15th Day Is About 17mm. When Will The Follicle Rupture

Hello, on the day 15 my follicle was almost 17mm on the right size, doctor said no more altrasound and no IUI since only one follicle. I was on Femara 2.5 day 3-7. Next cycle will increase the dose to steamulate for follicles then she can do IUI. However; I hopefully this month could be the month. When do you think my follicle will repture? (my OPK test was giving me fault positive last month and doctor said do not use this branch). Sincerely, Thanks! Mymy

Hi,

If everything is normal it can rupture within 3 to 4 days.
You can repeat the scan after 3 days. You may try intercourse from tomorrow for 3 to 4 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
