Taking Thyronorm. What Are The Chances Of Baby Having Thyroid Problem?

hi this is xyz. i got thyroid when i was pregnant nad now i have a baby of 11 months old. I am still continuing thyonorm 50 mcg and 25 mcg depending on my TSH level..
As i got thyroid when i am pregnant, is there any chance that my baby may get thyoid...
Also i feel tired even i do little work and feel irritated....
Are there any side effects of using the tab..

Hi

Since you got thyroid during pregnancy, there are good chances that it will go away some time after pregnancy. Thus you need to monitor thyroid levels closely and adjust the dosage accordingly. Inadequate medicine can lead to tiredness and more than required dose can cause symptoms of hyperthyroidism like irritability.

The baby may not get symptoms if the thyroid was adequately controlled during pregnancy.
