Taking Duphaston. Any Side Effects?

hi .. i started taking duphaston 4 days ago and it is recommended to be taken for 10 days ( 6 remaining days ).. does it have side effects on weight and breast increase in size, during this period? and after finish taking the medicine, will weight/ breast size return normal??? also, can i stop it at anytime to prevent facing these side effect?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You are taking Duphaston tablets contain dydrogesterone, a synthetic derivative of the female sex hormone progesterone.
It is used to treat various condition like dysmenorrhoea or painful periods, premenstrual syndrome and abnormal uterine bleeding, Endometriosis.
Please do not stop by yourself and duration depends on cause why you was prescribed this drug.
This can cause nausea, bloating, breast pain, irregular bleeding, dizziness, weight gain, skin rash.
If you have any you should report to treating doctor.If this is used for short duration after stopping the drug every thing should become normal.
