TTC. Can Acnesol 1% Solution Be Used For Recurring Pimples On Face?

respected doctor,
i am having many pimples on my face ,2 years before i used acnesol 1% solution, my pimples also reduced very nicely, now pimples are again coming and now i am married women i am planing for childrens. now i am having doubt to use acnesol 1% solution, Is there any problem to use pregnant women? please kindly answer to me.

Hi,

Acne or pimples are youth related problem and is not a disease per say. I can understand your concern of acne or pimples. You have not mentioned.

You can use acnesol 1% for topical application. There is no harm in using it. It contains clindamycin gel in it which is a topical antibiotic gel and do not cause any side effects. This do not cause side effects in pregnancy too so can be used during pregnancy.

As a mainstay you need certain oral treatments depending on grade of acne. Do not take any other medications as can cause side effects to your future pregnancy.
