Swollen Tonsils, Red And White Spots In Throat, Itchy Feet, Fever, Strep Test Negative. Any Ideas?

my granddaughter has extremely swollen tonsils with white and red spots in her throat . now her feet are itching so bad she can hardly stand it, but no rash . 102 fever yesterday and just keeps saying how sore her throat is. any ideas what it could be? strep test came back negative. she has felt like this for about a week now.
