Swelling In Throat, Difficulty Swallowing, Headache With Fever. On Creatine For Gym Work. Antibiotics Needed?

Hi, I have recently been taking creatine for gym work and yesterday I developed a swelling in my throat. This has now got progressively worse to the point I am having trouble swallowing water, I have also developed a massive head ache and a fever with a very sore neck and ears. Please can you advise me on what to do? I have been to the docs and they told me to leave it 24 hours before starting a corse of antibiotics?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM,
Swelling in throat and progressively worse difficulty in swallowing may have so many ENT related cause such as Tonsillitis, quinsy , Ludwigs angina , pharyngitis etc. if symptoms not subside after taking these antibiotics then better to consult ENT specialist.
