Swelling After Insect Bite. Took Pirotone, Hydrocortisone Cream. Area Quite Hot. Cure?
I have been bitten by an insect, the bite swelled and I have taken pirotone and used a hydrocortisone cream for the swelling. The bite seemed to go down, but has now returned and is worse! I have had bad reactions from bites before and have had to have intravenous antibiotics! The area is now quite hot, shall I go to A & E

It seems that you might got super added bacterial infection on the bite area giving rise to this problem.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Take antihistamine like Cetrizine for 2-3 days.
apply antibiotic cream locally.
Ok and take care.
