Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi,

By what you say I feel that your child will require evaluation for failure to thrive. There are many causes for failing to thrive in this age group like a simple thyroid problem to a complicated renal tubular acidosis.

Your child will require thorough evaluation by a pediatrician including lab investigations and ultrasound abdomen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
