Suggest Treatments For Sinus Infection That Has Spread To Lungs

I started with a sinus infection and over a weeks time it went to my lungs. In two weeks I have been choking up white strings of what appear to be tissue. It is now trying to move back to the sinuses. It has been three weeks. Using amoxicillan and puffers to breathe. Any ideas?

It is necessary performing a throat bacterial culture in order to determine the right antibiotic.

It seems that amoxicillin is not effective for this infection. You may need to switch to another antibiotic like azithromycin or clarithromycin. You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
