Suggest Treatment Irregular Menstrual Bleeding After IUD Removed

Hi. I had my.mirena IUD removed 10/15/14. And after that had a week of bleeding. Since them I ve had nothing. My husband and I have been TTC. But its hard to not know when my period will come. Yesterday we had intercourse and today I m having light cramping. Could this be implantation? Or my period coming?

Hi,

First of all it is not because of IUD. First rule out the cause of irregularity. It may be hypothyroidism and anemia. If still bleed then you have to start on antifibrionolytics to stop. Then do one ultrasound of your abdomen pelvic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Minakshi Biradar, OBGYN
