Suggest Treatment For Bacterial Vaginosis During Menstruation
Hi I have been diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and today will be my third day of treatment. I have the metronidozale gel and im going to start my menstrual cycle anyday now. Im thinking like the 27th no later than the 28th. How should I continue my treatment if I start my menstrual cycle before my 5th and last day of treatment. Also I was given a pill to take after my five days using the gel. Can you please let me know how i should go about my treatment if I start my menstrual cycle.

Nothing to worry, you can stop applying metronidazole gel if you get period during this time.
Start oral medicine for bacterial vaginosis.
You can start this oral medicine while having period.
Important is to maintain local hygiene clean, dry and airy during period.
Change sanitary pads regularly and frequently.
