I am taking rest and cautious fat-free diet along with Udiliv 300 for last 10 days. My total Bilurubin was 6.5 10 days ago. Still I am feeling weak. My appetite is normal and I am taking green vegetables, juices, fruits, porridge, home made curd and no fats. Till when i can expect complete recovery and what about weakness. Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist.

You are feeling weakness because of restriction of diet. You should take normal diet. In acute viral hepatitis there is no need for diet restriction. If you will take normal diet recovery will be soon.

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you . Wish you a good health
